Privacy should be clear before a request is sent.
Effective September 1, 2026. This notice describes the service-request, market-finder, and advertising-measurement experience.
Information used by the market finder
City and state searches run in the browser against a list of markets already published on this site. The finder does not request your device location.
Service-request information
When you use the request form, we collect the contact details, service address, door and property details, safety conditions, symptoms, visible signs, troubleshooting observations, timing, written description, consent choices, and optional photos you provide. The form also records the source page, domain, submission time, and available campaign parameters.
Draft saving and FormSteps
The request form uses FormSteps/FormAgent to save a partial draft after you begin entering information, update that draft as you continue, upload optional photos, and receive the final submission. A partial draft is recovery and operational-review data; it is not a booked appointment and does not by itself authorize marketing messages.
Attribution and conversion measurement
When available, we collect pseudonymous browser and session identifiers, browser and device signals, advertising click identifiers such as GCLID, GBRAID, WBRAID, and FBCLID, campaign parameters, and page or form activity. We use this information to attribute requests and calls, deduplicate events, measure advertising results, and identify fraud or quality problems.
We may send browser and server-side measurement events to advertising platforms such as Meta and Google Ads. These events may include page views, qualified engagement, and accepted service requests, together with pseudonymous identifiers used for matching and deduplication. A platform accepting an event does not guarantee that it will match the record to an ad interaction or count it in reporting.
Audience measurement and identity resolution
This site works with third-party marketing and analytics providers — including Audience AI — that use cookies, pixels, and identity-resolution technology to help us understand our audience and reach visitors with relevant local-service information. Identity-resolution partners may associate pseudonymous browser signals with contact information from their own databases.
If you submit a service request through this site, we stop identity-resolution processing for your browser: once you have told us who you are, we do not attempt to identify you through third-party resolution.
You can opt out of the identity-resolution provider's processing directly at app.retention.com/optout.
Targeted advertising and your choices
Advertising providers may use the measurement information described above to measure campaigns, build advertising audiences, or show ads they believe are relevant. Some state laws describe this use as targeted advertising.
To ask us not to use your information for targeted advertising, use our contact page and state that you are making a targeted-advertising opt-out request. We also honor recognized universal opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, where they apply. When such a signal is present, the Audience AI script does not load the Meta Pixel or send Meta website events for that browser visit.
Routing and independent providers
Answers may be evaluated to recommend an emergency, urgent professional, garage-door professional, diagnostic, or limited-scope handyman review. That recommendation is not a diagnosis. A submitted request may be shared with an independent provider able to review the job and with Service Dispatch for operational review. Provider receipt, acknowledgment, scheduling, and repair completion are separate events.
Contact consent
Required service-contact consent authorizes Fix My Garage Door Now and the provider reviewing the request to contact you about that request. Service-related text consent is shown separately when text message is selected as the preferred contact method. No general marketing consent is requested by this form.
