Privacy should be clear before a request is sent.
Effective August 11, 2026. This notice describes the service-request and market-finder experience.
Information used by the market finder
City and state searches run in the browser. If you choose device location, the browser supplies coordinates to the page so it can rank listed market centers by distance. Those coordinates stay on the device and are not sent to this website by the finder.
Service-request information
When you use the request form, we collect the contact details, service address, door and property details, safety conditions, symptoms, visible signs, troubleshooting observations, timing, written description, consent choices, and optional photos you provide. The form also records the source page, domain, submission time, and available campaign parameters.
Draft saving and FormSteps
The request form uses FormSteps/FormAgent to save a partial draft after you begin entering information, update that draft as you continue, upload optional photos, and receive the final submission. A partial draft is recovery and operational-review data; it is not a booked appointment and does not by itself authorize marketing messages.
Routing and independent providers
Answers may be evaluated to recommend an emergency, urgent professional, garage-door professional, diagnostic, or limited-scope handyman review. That recommendation is not a diagnosis. A submitted request may be shared with an independent provider able to review the job. Provider receipt, acknowledgment, scheduling, and repair completion are separate events.
Contact consent
Required service-contact consent authorizes Fix My Garage Door Now and the provider reviewing the request to contact you about that request. Service-related text consent is shown separately when text message is selected as the preferred contact method. No general marketing consent is requested by this form.
Analytics and cookies
No advertising technology is configured in the current project. If that changes, this notice and any required consent controls must change with it.
